Description
Our intent with the Ruby Vineyard Laurelwood Blend Pinot Noir is to make a wine that expresses the unique characteristics derived from Laurelwood soils of the east face of the Chehalem Mountains AVA in the Northern Willamette Valley. Our Estate Vineyard is situated at about 400 feet elevation with a south facing aspect with an exposition of 8%. The fruit for this wine comes from vineyards farmed for us on the same ridgeline with the same aspect and exposition up to 800 feet of elevation. The mix of clones includes Pommard, 115, 828, and 777. This is a wine of place.
