Turina

The wine cellar Turina is a family farm devoted to the cultivation of wine and olive-trees since many generations; at present it is managed by three brothers: Paolo, Luigi and Dario.

It was grandfather Luigi, who ventured into the first wine-making, confident that from the “Groppello”, native of Valtenesi, a wine would have been obtained, appreciated by the customers for its tasty equilibrium and particular fineness qualities.

Nowadays, almost a hundred years later, it is still the “Groppello” to keep the passion for wine-growing alive among the Turina brothers. Yearly, about 150.000 bottles of great Doc Garda Classico wines are produced from the 18 hectares of vineyard in Valtènesi, cultivated in absolute consideration for the environment, together with a more moderate bottle production quantity of extra-virgin olive oil.

The modern wine-making cellar, bottling and refinement, result of a series of investments started by father Gaudenzio in 1974, overlooks the road that connects Desenzano with Salò and is open to the public for tasting and purchase.
