Hobo Zinfandel

This, our third “Sonoma County” Zinfandel is a blend of the Chen Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley and the Branham Rockpile Vineyard in the Rockpile AVA. Though only from two vineyards this year, the wine still captures the climatic diversity of the area especially in a vintage like 2020. We believe that sourcing from multiple sites and climates and soil types give us a representation of the area and a variety of different expressions and flavors.
The pieces were fermented individually and blended at the first racking in February of 2020 including about 5% Petite Sirah also from the Branham Rockpile Vineyard. The final blend was aged in a French oak foudre and a single barrique.
