The Tower of the University of Coimbra is an ex-libris of the Portuguese capital of knowledge, Coimbra. From its top, you can enjoy a unique view of the university and the city.

The Torre de Coimbra wine is inspired by the vibrant pulse of the city’s university life, showing itself young, joyful, and modern.


Climate: Tempered Climate — Atlantic
Soil: Clay – Limestone, light acid and poor in nutrients
Grape Varieties: Tinta Pinheira, Touriga-Nacional, Tinta-Roriz, Baga e Tinta Amarela
Winemaking: Fermentation with long maceration and controlled temperature between 22o and 24oC.
Aging: Stainless steel tanks, 4 months in cellar before being labelled.
Bottling: 2016
Alcohol Content: 13,0% ALC. By VOL.

Colour: Intense Ruby
Aroma: Lush set with red fruits.
Taste: Spices, slightly dry, elegant tannins
Final Taste: Long, fresh and with good acidity
