Pedra Cancela Winemakers Selection

The Pedra Cancela Selecção de Enólogo/Winemaker’s Selection wine was thought through to have a modern profile without dismissing the tradition of the Dão wines, providing a palate of aromas and flavors of the region for an appealing price.


Climate: Continental—Mediterranic
Soil: Granitic and coarse sand, with low yields
Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz
Winemaking: Fermentation with soft maceration and controlled temperature between 24 and 26oC
Aging: Aged 6 months in oak barrels Allier, and 3 months in the cellar before being released to the market.
Alcohol Content: 13,5% ALC. By VOL.

Aroma: Intense red fruits, ripe plum and cocoa notes
Taste: Reveals freshness and soft body and elegant tannins
