Description
Dense red still with some purple on the rim, intense and quite spicy nose of ripe blackberry fruit with a touch of leather that smooth out as it comes onto the palate and then the vigour of Petit Verdot and Tannat kick in, still slightly smoky from the oak, but the vigourous and lifted fruit will soon dominate and the firm natural tannins will blend in as well, a wine of personality and vigour without over-extraction, remaining sweet on the palate. 2013-20.
