Climate: Continental
Soil: Schist, slightly acidic and poor in nutrients
Grape Varieties: Originated from Douro Old Vines, more than 80 years old, composed of several typical varieties from the Douro, mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Barroca
Winemaking: Destemming, maceration in typical granitic treading tank and fermentation with controlled temperature between 22 and 24oC
Aging: Aged 6 months in french oak barrels
Alcohol Content: 13,5% ALC. By VOL.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Intense ruby color
Aroma: Violets, dark red berries and some cocoa
Taste: Very involving ripe fruit, with soft body and elegant tannins, very fruity
Final Taste: Very pleasant and long after taste
